Terrix Financial traces its beginning to 1927 with the formation of the Wallace Moir Company, a regional mortgage banking company headquartered in Beverly Hills, California. The company represented several major life insurance companies and by 1985 serviced over $1 Billion in loans. The founder, Wallace Moir, was the president of the National Mortgage Banking Association in 1954.
In 1980, Wallace Moir Company expanded to Denver, Colorado, bringing representation of their correspondent life company lenders to the Rocky Mountain Region. The original California based company sold in 1996, and at that time the Colorado corporation changed its name to Terrix Financial Corporation.
Terrix has grown to 8 employees and currently services a loan portfolio of over $400,000,000. Still active with many life insurance company lenders, Terrix also has correspondences with agency lenders and long term relationships with local banks and credit unions.
